Changes to state law (Senate Bill 15-202) create new requirements for water conditioning installations. Effective April 1, 2016, anyone installing water conditioners must be registered with the State Plumbing Board or be a licensed plumber. There are three new registration types for non-plumbers to perform water-conditioning installation.
View the official state notice for more information on how to comply with the new regulation.
