Dannette joined the Town of Parker in February 2017. She oversees Parker’s Communications Department and Municipal Court operations and also leads, plans and coordinates Town-wide strategic initiatives and programs. Dannette began her career in municipal government in 2011 with the City of Addison, Texas as Assistant to the City Manager. From there, Dannette relocated to Colorado where she worked as Management Analyst for the City of Greenwood Village Public Works Department.
Prior to making a career change to municipal government, Dannette worked as a director of business development in the hospitality industry for 10 years. Dannette earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. Dannette is active in the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and has served on the Advisory Board on Graduate Education since 2015. She served as the ICMA Chapter Mentor for the University of Colorado at Denver School of Public Affairs. Dannette is also an active member of the Colorado City and County Management Association and currently serves on the Art of Management planning committee.
