As autumn arrives, so too does a new season of events and activities to enjoy. Make the most of fall in the Town of Parker with this seasonal preview.
Sip and Shop: Downtown Parker Wine Walks take place the last Friday of September, October and November. The Wine Walks, hosted by the Parker Chamber of Commerce, invite participants to visit with downtown merchants while sampling wine and enjoying delicious treats.
Visit the Market: Round out another season of fresh produce and local artisan products at the Parker Farmer’s Market. The market takes place on Mainstreet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays through the end of October. More than 70 vendors participate in the market, making it one of the largest in the Denver metropolitan area.

Get Spooked: Gather with goblins and ghouls at one of Parker’s Halloween events. Parker Parks and Recreation’s popular Fieldhouse Fright Night returns Oct. 20 with a variety of family-friendly activities including Spook Skate, Rock’n Halloween at the Climbing Wall, a costume contest, arts and crafts and more!
Downtown is the place to be on Halloween thanks to the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club-sponsored Trick or Treat on Mainstreet. The festivities begin at O’Brien Park and continue down Mainstreet.
Gobble Up A 5K: Burn some carbs before digging into Thanksgiving dinner at the Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk. Part of Parker Parks and Recreation’s Run Series, this event is unofficially timed, however all participants will receive a giveaway and chance to win prizes. Costumes are encouraged and get more elaborate every year!
Ring in the Holidays: Parker is a magical place during the Christmas season. Be there when downtown is illuminated in seasonal splendor at the Mayor’s Holiday Lighting and partake in a truly unique Parker tradition by attending the Christmas Carriage Parade.

Skate the Ice Trail: Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, the Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park is open seven days a week. One of the only ice trails in the country, the skating path meanders through the park reminiscent of a frozen river or canal. Skaters or visitors can warm up next to any of the three fire pits adjacent to the ice trail, too.
