Community engagement is important to the Town of Parker and has been an area of increasing focus over the past several years. Town staff works diligently to engage the public, provide opportunities for involvement, feedback, and fun, and keep Parker’s hometown feel alive!
We provide a variety of easy-to-use online engagement resources including social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Nextdoor), Town websites (www.ParkerOnline.org; www.ParkeRec.com; www.ParkerArts.org; and www.ParkerPolice.org; and www.ParkerED.org). Our new online engagement platform, Let's Talk Parker, rolled out in early 2018 and allows the public to provide real-time feedback on important Town projects and initiatives.
Planning Commission and Town Council meetings are live streamed on the Town’s Facebook page and archived on the Town’s YouTube channel. A Town Council meeting recap is also available on social media, Nextdoor and the Town website following each meeting.
Video is also a big focus for Parker, and Kathy Sabine worked with us in 2017 to produce a series of videos promoting our great community! Check out that series along with other educational and promotional videos here.
You may also keep informed of events and activities with the Town calendar, Parks and Recreation calendar and Parker Arts calendar or by signing up for email notifications from the Town.
Additional communication materials include our Annual Report and Town Calendar, monthly Talk of the Town newsletter, and quarterly Town Administrator’s Report.
We encourage you to take advantage of these many useful resources and get involved today!
