Who is ready for warmer weather, flowers and trees in bloom and a new season to arrive? If you answered “yes,” then this guide of events, activities and unique happenings is sure to help you make the most of spring here in the Town of Parker.

Think Green: Join Parker Parks and Recreation in celebration of Arbor Day at the annual Arbor Day Celebration April 27.
During this event at Discovery Park, you can pick up a free seedling tree or shrub, chat with the Town’s Parks and Forestry team, take part in family-friendly activities and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast.

Adopt An Outdoor Space: Enjoy the sunshine while you help keep Parker beautiful by adopting and maintaining an outdoor area. Multiple options are available to Adopt-a-Flowerbed, Adopt-an-Open-Space, Adopt-a-Trail or Adopt-a-Street throughout our community. And after record-setting participation in 2018, we’re looking for even more volunteers this year!
To learn more about these programs and other volunteer opportunities visit the Town’s volunteer information webpage.

Get Some Fresh Air: Enjoyable any time of year, Parker's expansive trail system and collection of public parks offer the perfect setting to welcome the spring season.

Keep Active: Parker Parks and Recreation’s catalog of adult sports, youth sports, fitness classes, programs and camps offer something for everyone looking to break a sweat or take part in some friendly competition. Mark your calendars, too, for summer sport registration, which takes place in March and April.
Other opportunities to get out and about include the Senior Stroll on May 29, along with Parents’ Night Out and Saturday Skate Night events.

Be in the Audience: Attend one of Parker Arts’ marquee events like the Howard Jones Acoustic Trio Tour, Postmodern Jukebox, Rocky Mountain Brass Band Festival, Friday Night Jazz, Comedy & Cocktails, and performances from Wonderbound, the Parker Symphony Orchestra and Parker Chorale. Tickets for these events and more can be purchased through the Parker Arts website.
Art galleries at the PACE Center and The Schoolhouse, and educational classes provide even more entertainment and enrichment opportunities.

Go to Market: Drawing vendors and visitors from throughout the metro, the Parker Farmer’s Market returns to Mainstreet on Sunday mornings beginning in May. At the height of the season, the market features nearly 80 vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods and homemade items.

Create Your Own Trip: Plan your visit to the Town of Parker at www.ParkerOnline.org/Visit and find more things to do on the Town Calendar, Parker Parks and Recreation Calendar and Parker Arts Calendar.
Share Your Adventures: Document and share your spring fun in Parker on the Town’s social media accounts by using #TownofParkerCO, #ParkerRec or #ParkerArts.
