H2O’Brien Pool Opens for season:
Save the date for Saturday, May 25 as H2O’Brien Pool is scheduled (weather permitting) to open for summer!
Daily hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays.
H2O'Brien Outdoor Pool features two 182' water slides, a waterworks play structure, a spray garden, sprays and geysers, a circulation and lap pool, a concession area and a shade pavilion.

Parker Farmer’s Market sprouts back up:
Mainstreet will be the place to be Sunday mornings beginning May 12 as the Parker Farmer’s Market kicks off its season. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays through October. Check out our Downtown Parking Map to find the best places to park while you visit downtown for the market or the Downtown Bicycle Rack Map if your journey only involves two wheels.
Please note The Schoolhouse Lot Parking Lot Project will limit parking spaces in that lot through October.
Touch-a-Truck & Let’s Talk Parker events May 19:
Start National Public Works Week (May 19 to 25) off right by stopping by the Town’s first Touch-a-Truck equipment showcase. Representatives from our Engineering and Public Works Department will be at the Parker Farmer’s Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 19 with a display of some of their biggest and best equipment. Visitors will be able to see the vehicles up close, interact with department staff and get a better understanding of how the Engineering and Public Works teams impact their daily lives.
During the May 19 farmer’s market, you’re also invited to stop by the Town’s Let’s Talk Parker booth to meet Town staff, learn about volunteer opportunities, sign up for the Let’s Talk Parker community engagement website, pick up a free Parker reusable shopping back (perfect for use at the market) and more.
Household Chemical Roundup May 18:
Tri-County Health Department, the Town of Parker and the Parker Water and Sanitation District will host a household chemical roundup from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18. The collection will take place at the Parker Joint Services Center, 17801 E. Plaza Drive, and is open to all Douglas County residents. Participants must bring a proof of residency and $25 per vehicle to offset the cost of hazardous waste disposal.
Accepted items include house and garden chemicals, automotive fluids/fuels, fluorescent light bulbs and CFLs, propane tanks up to 20 pounds, vehicle and household batteries, items containing mercury, car and pickup truck tires that are off rim, oil-based paint and paint products, and cleaning products and supplies. Monthly public meetings:
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays, May 6 and 20 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet. The Council will hold study sessions at 5:30 p.m. Monday May 13 and Tuesday, May 28 in the Pikes Peak Community Room at Town Hall. A special regular meeting will be held Tuesday, May 28, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, May 9 and 23 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
The Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
