5 Things March 21

Keep up with Parker news and happenings with our list of five things to know for March.

Go green with St. Patrick’s Day activities:
If you enjoyed meeting Buddy the Elf last December, get excited to meet his good pal Lucky the Leprechaun.

Lucky will be strolling along Mainstreet from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays March 13 and 20. The friendly leprechaun will also be hiding shamrocks around the community from March 13 to 20. If you spot Lucky or any of his shamrocks hidden around town, take a photo and email it to Special Events Coordinator Brooke Spain at bspain@parkeronline.org or share your photo on the Town’s Facebook page to be entered into a drawing for a prize basket.

Check out the Community Events webpage for complete details.

Town Council special election approaches:
The Town of Parker will hold a special election on Tuesday, April 20 to fill two open seats on the Parker Town Council. The two new elected Councilmembers will serve until the next regular municipal election, which will be held in November 2022.

Ballots will be arriving in Parker residents' mailboxes in March and can be returned by mail or dropped off at one of Parker’s 24-hour ballot drop box locations.

Drive-Up
• Parker Town Hall, 20120 Mainstreet
• Parker Police Department, 18600 Lincoln Meadows Pkwy.
• EchoPark Stadium, 11901 Newlin Gulch Blvd.

Additional information and candidate biographies will be published on the 2021 Special Election webpage.

Programs and activities ramping up:
Parker Arts will host its first in-person performances of the year in March. Visit the Shows and Events Calendar for a lineup of upcoming theater, music and comedy acts.
