Description of your business: The Bagel Stop Café is a locally-owned, scratch-made bagel bakery located in the heart of Parker, and has been part of the Parker community for nearly 29 years. We only use real ingredients and make everything to order so it's easy for people and families to arrive knowing they will find something to satisfy every hungry belly. We have a variety of options on our menu that include bagel sandwiches, pizza bagels, Lox-a-Bagels, lunch sandwiches, huge breakfast burritos, a very friendly kid's menu, pastries, smoothies, frozen blended coffee, and signature lattes, just to name a few.
The Bagel Stop Café is a full-service restaurant with a convenient drive thru. We prepare roughly 600 pounds of flour and hand-crack over 2,500 eggs each week. When people come in to the Bagel Stop Café for the very first time they always stop, look around, then smile ... for multiple reasons. If you haven't been in yet, our walls are covered by a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted mural painted over 25 years ago. You can hear the nostalgia in the guest's voice when they tell their kids they used to come here when they were a child and this place looked nearly the same and still has the best bagels ever.
Of course we are known for our massive water-boiled bagels, but we also offer other delicious items like bagel sandwiches, breakfast burritos, avocado toast, omelets on bagels, our yummy Italian Lunch Sandwich on a bagel (in a wrap or on a croissant), and our signature California Breakfast Sandwich served with cream cheese, avocado, tomato, and bacon, on your choice of any bagel! Or if you're have a craving just let us know and build your own!
The Bagel Stop is very kid friendly. We have a kid's menu, a popular kid's corner (complete with kid-size table), and even have a giant checkerboard on the patio. Our kid's menu includes a bagel with spread, the Elizabeth burrito, mac n' cheese, turkey and cheese roll ups, and more. Each dish comes with a side!
What is your most popular product/service? We are known for our grand selection of over 25 different sweet and savory bagels and large assortment of house-made cream cheeses that we are constantly expanding. We recently introduced the pretzel and the jalapeño cheddar bagel. Our customers enjoy coming up with crazy bagel and spread combinations. Currently our seasonal cream cheeses include spinach feta, and cookies and cream; but don't forget about the old faithful flavors like French vanilla, and garden veggie.
What do you enjoy about being part of the Parker community? I was lucky enough to work here for the previous owner. When he told me he would be selling it broke my heart. I grew up here and fell in love with Parker and the Bagel Stop Café a long time ago. I loved having "regulars" and didn't want to see the restaurant go in a different direction that would disappoint so many loyal customers.
My husband and I dreamed of one day having our own Bagel Stop regulars. I would have never imagined how big a part of our lives our customers have become. It means so much to me and my family to have a community of supporters and guests who love this place and my family as much as we do. I feel like I have made life-long connections with our customers; many feel like family.
We are the proud owners of the Bagel Stop Café celebrating our first year of ownership in our mission to serve our wonderful guests who have been patrons of the Bagel Stop Café for over 28 years.
