Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Race on Feb. 12:
The Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Valentine’s Day 5K/10K returns Saturday, Feb. 12 at Salisbury Park.
Part of the Parks and Recreation Run Series, the Valentine’s Day 5K/10K is professionally timed. Registered participants will receive a race shirt, custom bib and a post-race pancake breakfast. A free Kids’ Dash for children 8 and under will follow the run; no registration necessary.
Find more information and register by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 on the race website. Event-day registration will be available for an additional fee.
And if you participate, stop by the Love Parker booth for a chance to win a Love Parker beanie or other prizes.
Where to Find Town Job Postings:
Work where you live by joining the Town of Parker team. Several full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are currently posted on the Employment Opportunities webpage.
Additionally, Parker Parks and Recreation will host a job fair from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 at the Parker Fieldhouse. Capacity is limited and reservations are required. Register online at ParkerRec.com/Register and search for ‘Job Fair’ or contact the events team for help registering at 303.805.6318 or recevents@parkeronline.org.

How to Sign Up for Emergency Alerts and News Updates:
Enroll to receive emergency notifications on your phone from the CodeRed messaging system at ParkerOnline.org/CodeRed. CodeRed allows public safety personnel in Douglas County, including the Parker Police Department, to send messages with vital information directly to your phone during emergency situations.
Residents can also sign up for text/email notifications from the Town of Parker at ParkerOnline.org/Email. Notification lists include general news items, citizen involvement opportunities, community events, roads and transportation, Town calendars, meeting agendas, facility closures, snow operations updates and more.
Monthly Public Meetings:
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7 and Tuesday, Feb. 22. The Council will hold study sessions at 5 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 14 and 28.
Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 10 and 24.
Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17.
