Town Council Election Approaches:
The Town of Parker will hold a regular election on Tuesday, Nov. 8 in conjunction with the Douglas County coordinated election to elect three Councilmembers to four-year terms. The candidates for the 2022 election, in alphabetical order, are:

• Brian Carruthers
• Cheryl Poage
• Joshua Rivero
• Brandi Wilks

Enter The Halloween Porch Parade:
Showcase your hometown and Halloween spirit by entering the Porch Parade decorating contest! Unleash your creativity, bring a smile (or a scare) to your friends and neighbors, and win prizes by decorating your front porches, yards, window, doors, patios or balconies for the season.
New for 2022, we’ve added three judging categories, plus The Elected Choice Award chosen by Parker’s Mayor and Town Council. The People’s Choice Award will also return and be decided through a vote on the Town’s Facebook page.
And as in previous years, we’ll create a map of entries so the community can visit and share in the celebration.

Fieldhouse Fright Night Oct. 22:
Families are invited to an evening of Halloween fun at Fieldhouse Fright Night at the Parker Fieldhouse Saturday, Oct. 22.
Kids will find tricks and treats galore as they make their way around Trick- or-Treat Street, play goblin games, make their way through Mini or Mega Monster Museum and conquer the Rock'n Halloween Climbing Wall! Local sponsors, crafts, games and the popular costume contest will all be a part of this magical event.

Redesigned Town Websites Launch:
The Town of Parker and the Parker Police Department have introduced redesigned websites. In addition to stylistic refreshes, we worked hard to make it easier to find the resources that you're looking for. New accessibility features were also added. Check out these refreshed websites today at ParkerOnline.org and ParkerPolice.org!
Parker Parks and Recreation’s site, ParkerRec.com, will undergo a redesign of its own and roll out later this year.
Monthly Public Meetings:
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 3 and 17. The Council will hold study sessions at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 and 5 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 10 and 24.
Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 13 and 27.
Parker Youth Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18.
Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20.
