Veterans, their families and survivors are invited to participate in a Veterans Information Night to hear the latest on VA benefit and medical programs.

Veterans, their families and survivors are invited to participate in a Veterans Information Night to hear the latest on VA benefit and medical programs. The Veterans Information Night will be held Sept., 27  from 6 to 8:30 p.m. 

The City of Aurora and the Aurora Veterans Affairs Commission are hosting the Veterans Information Night at the Heritage Eagle Bend Gold Clubhouse at 23155 East Heritage Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80016.

The meeting is open to all members of the public, including Congressional stakeholders, Veterans Service Organizations, state and local governmental and non-governmental organizations, and community partners.

VA Benefit claim representatives will be on hand to assist Veterans personally during the evening with questions or issues related to their individual claims, home loan guaranty and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment issues. For Veterans who have questions about medical issues, representatives from the Eastern Colorado Health Care System will be available at the event for questions. Fort Logan National Cemetery will have a resource table at the Town Hall to provide information on burial programs. A Mobile Vet Center will be available to assist any Veterans and Active Duty service members, to include members of the National Guard and Reserve components, who have served on active military duty in any combat theater or area of hostility or experienced a military sexual trauma.  Assistance is also available for families who have experience an active duty death.
