On Nov. 16, the Town Council approved an agreement allowing Town Administrator Jeannene Bragg to resign her position as Town Administrator and transition into the role of the Town’s Arts, Culture and History Director, a new position which will direct the Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center.
This is an exciting opportunity for Bragg, as she has a strong educational and working background in the arts. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts, an MA in Arts Administration and has many years of experience as an administrator and theatre artist. “This is a very exciting time for me. This transition will allow me to combine my commitment to the Town with my passion for the arts and culture and continue to work in service of our community,” said Bragg.
To make this transition positive and seamless for the organization, Bragg will remain in the position of Town Administrator until the Town Council selects a new person, which is typically about a six-month process.
Bragg has been with the Town for 15 years and has served in a variety of roles including Communications and Cultural Director, Community Affairs Director, Deputy Town Administrator and Town Administrator.
