The Town of Parker ranked 12th on CNN Money Magazine's 2013 Best Places to Live list, which features America's best small towns. Parker is one of only three Colorado communities to be selected for this prestigious designation.
According to Money Magazine, "Money's top 50 small towns are not only thriving, they're great places to raise a family, with plenty of green space, good schools and a strong sense of community."
“We’re thrilled to be included on this list and for people to discover what we already know.” said Parker Mayor Mike Waid. “Parker is a great community in which to live, raise a family, work and run a business.”
To compile the list, Money Magazine staff analyzed communities with populations between 10,000 and 50,000. The magazine used a variety of criteria to choose the top 50 communities, including job growth, housing appreciation and affordability, safety, schools, health care, arts and leisure, diversity and ease of living.
