Officers from the Parker Police Department will give a new meaning to "protect and serve" with the Tip-A-Cop event. Officers and Special Olympic athletes will serve as celebrity waiters at Red Robin and encourage guest to donate their tips to Special Olympics Colorado.
Officers and athletes will be serving on Oct. 12 at the Red Robin on Crown Crest Blvd. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tip-A-Cop has been a popular event for the Parker Police Department and the public enjoys the opportunity to be waited on by the Special Olympics athletes.
