holiday-lights-downtown.jpg

Bundle up and bring your family and friends to kick-off the holiday season at the Mayor’s Holiday Lighting on Friday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. in O’Brien Park. Enjoy an exciting medley of the “Nutcracker of Parker,” by Colorado School of Dance and a special performance by a brass quintet from the Denver Municipal Band. Then, experience the magic when you join the Mayor, Town Council, Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the Parker Chorale at 6 p.m. for a Town sing-a-long of Silent Night before the grand park lighting. Festive concessions including coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, roasted nuts and eggnog samples will all be available for spectators to enjoy during the show.

Event-goers are welcome to hop on a carriage or hay wagon for a free ride in downtown Parker and visits with Santa will be available at the PACE Center after the event! Enjoy the beauty of downtown Parker during the holidays. More information can be found at www.parkeronline.org/mayorsholidaylighting or by calling 303.841.0353.
