Residents who live in the Town of Parker’s Canterberry subdivision, and/or utilize Canterberry Parkway on a regular basis, are advised that traffic on the roadway will be impacted between 5 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17 due to the annual Legend High School homecoming parade.
During that time period, the northbound lane of Canterberry Parkway will be closed for the parade route planned between the access roads for Legend High School and Cimarron Middle School. The parade will leave Legend and travel north to Cimarron, where it will turn around and return to Legend following the same route in the same traffic lane.
Canterberry Parkway’s southbound lane of traffic will remain open throughout the parade, so residents looking to access their neighborhoods are advised to enter the area from the north between 5 and 6 p.m. Officers from the Parker Police Department will be on hand to direct traffic and slow the parade in order to let residents enter their neighborhoods from the southbound lane.
If you have any questions about the parade route or traffic concerns, please contact the Parker Police Department at 303.841.9800.
