Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community? Volunteer Committee member positions are open on the Parker Investment Advisory Committee.
The Investment Advisory Committee, an advisory board appointed by the Town Council, reviews and monitors the Town’s cash management and investment results, develops and recommends investment policies to the Town Council, and assists in the selection of investment facilitators and managers. The Investment Advisory Committee shall meet at least semi-annually (typically in January and July, during the work day) at Town Hall.
To be appointed, professionals must be knowledgeable of the financial arena, with experience serving as representatives of banks or trust companies, representatives of primary government bond dealers, private sector cash managers, or finance directors or investment personnel in local governmental entities. Preference shall be given to professionals who live or work within the Town limits of Parker. Financial professionals shall be appointed for four-year staggered terms. Reappointment of members shall be considered.
