The Town of Parker has been included in another ranking of the best cities to live, this time coming in at No. 19 on WalletHub.com’s list of the “Best Small Cities in America” for 2015.
WalletHub’s ranking included 1,268 cities with population sizes between 25,000 and 100,000 residents. The study compared the communities by 22 different metrics across four key categories: Affordability, Economic Health, Education and Health, and Quality of Life.
Parker was one of three Colorado cities to make the top 100 along with Littleton (No. 2) and Lafayette (No. 48).
The Town of Parker has received additional high ratings in recent years from a variety of sources, including being named the No. 12 “Best Place to Live” by CNNMoney Magazine in 2013 and the 47th “Safest City in America” for 2014 according to NeighborhoodScout.com, a data and research-based website.
Also, in the past month, Parker was named the “Bakery Capital of Colorado” and earned the No. 4 national rating among all of the top state picks in a geospatial and business data study cited by another research-based website, Graphiq.com.
