The Rueter-Hess Recreation Authority is seeking input from the public to develop the Rueter-Hess Reservoir Recreation Master Plan. The planning process began in November with an online survey that garnered nearly 4,000 responses. Phase two of the process will include developing concept alternatives for public feedback.
There are three open house opportunities for the public to give input on proposed options related to recreation at the reservoir and surrounding area:
* Parker Town Hall — Feb. 17 — 5 to 7 p.m.
* Lone Tree Recreation Center — Feb. 20 — 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
* Castle Rock Recreation Center — Feb. 27 — 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to stop by to see the alternatives, talk with landscape architects and share your ideas. Those who cannot attend a public open house may view options online and provide feedback from Feb. 19 to 27 at www.PWSD.org.
