alert-news.jpg

Xcel Energy has filed a local land use permit application with the Town of Parker for the Utility's proposed Pawnee-Daniels Park 345kV transmission line. The project will begin at the Pawnee Station near Brush, Colorado and end at the Daniels Park Subdivision north of Castle Pines, Colorado.

Xcel Energy's preferred route for the metro-area portion of the 125-mile project includes 5.42 miles located within the Town of Parker. This route would be constructed within an existing 210-foot wide utility corridor, adjacent to an existing transmission line.

Additional project information is available on the Town of Parker website at www.ParkerOnline.org/XcelEnergy.
