The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is bringing all-day bus service to the Town of Parker with the new Route 483 beginning April 25.
Route 483 will replace the Routes 410 and 153 through the Town and provide expanded weekday service connecting Parker to the Lincoln Light Rail Station and the Nine Mile Light Rail Station. The new route will connect Parker to the Lincoln Station weekdays every 30 minutes during peak travel times and every 60 minutes during mid-day hours. The new service between Parker and Nine Mile Station will run every 60 minutes all day. The implementation of the Route 483 will be the first time all-day local bus route service will be offered in Parker.
The new route will connect to the AT SkyRide route at Nine Mile, providing improved transit access to Denver International Airport. The new route will also continue to provide transit access to shopping and employment areas along Twenty Mile and Dransfeldt Roads.
It is important for residents to note that although the change provides improved access and service along the new route, local bus service south of Twenty Mile Road along Parker Road to the Pinery Park-n-Ride will be discontinued. The Route P Regional commuter service will continue to provide transit service to the Pinery Park-n-Ride.
