To encourage community conversation, the Town of Parker Community Development Department is introducing quarterly Community Open House events, the first of which will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Community Open House will be held in the Pikes Peak Community Room in Parker Town Hall, located at 20120 E. Mainstreet.
The purpose of the Open House is to encourage conversation among residents and staff about community development issues in Parker including ensuring safe, quality construction; planning for growth and development; promoting quality of life and supporting the Town’s vision for the future. There will be a brief presentation, but the Open House is intended to be informal and offer the opportunity for conversation about subjects of interest to residents. Please join us to discuss our community, how it is evolving and the many exciting initiatives that the Town is pursuing. Light refreshments will be served.
The Community Development Open House is a regular event that will be held quarterly at Parker Town Hall. The next Open House will be held in October at a date to be announced in the near future. Staff welcomes suggestions for topics to be discussed at the Open House and these may be submitted to the Community Development Department at Planning@parkeronline.org.
