Celebrate Independence Day at Parker’s Stars and Stripes Celebration Presented by Fit 36. This annual celebration has a new name, but is the same great event! Join us on Tuesday, July 4 at Salisbury Park from 6 to 10 p.m.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and set up for an evening jam-packed with family fun. Many of the activities are complimentary, and for the pay-to-play activities and food vendors, there will be ATM’s on site. The Parker Police Department Honor Guard and Parker Chorale will kick-off the event with the presentation of our nation’s colors and the singing of the National Anthem. Six Million Dollar Band will be jamming to 80s hits from 6 to 9:15 p.m.! The evening will conclude with Parker’s biggest and best fireworks display to date, beginning at 9:30 p.m.
New this year, in addition to the main parking lot, we have added additional parking north of Salisbury Park with a pedestrian access path to the event. Vehicles may park in any lot when arriving from the north or south via Motsenbocker Road. Following the event, no matter how vehicles entered the lots, vehicles parked in the Salisbury North lots will exit northbound on Motsenbocker Road and vehicles parked in the Main Parking lot will exit southbound on Motsenbocker Road. Limited handicap-accessible parking will also be available. All parking is $5, cash only, with no in-and-out parking allowed. General event admission is free.
