Please join us for an open house on Tuesday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. The open house will be to review the draft update to the Open Space, Trails and Greenways Master Plan and provide your comments. The Town is currently in the process of updating the plan which was originally adopted in 2004. The plan has been a great success and has helped to guide the Town in the prioritization of open space acquisition and preservation as well as prioritizing new trail construction. The Town currently has 1920 acres of open space (over three square miles) and 65 miles of trails.
The Town held open houses in October and November of 2009 to receive input from the public to help guide the update of the plan. Input received from the public, Town Council, the Planning Commission and surrounding jurisdictions has been folded into the draft that will be presented at the open house.
The Town looks forward to your input and ideas in reviewing this latest draft.
