Information Technology is a busy department within the Town of Parker. Our wonderful staff members who work in this area handle all IT operations for our organization, as well as the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping.
In his role as Systems Support Specialist, Todd Martinez provides technical support and assistance to all members of Town staff. Todd helps to keep the Town of Parker running thanks to his high level of technical knowledge and proven problem-solving skills.

How long have you worked for the Town of Parker? Where did you work before Parker?
“I have worked for the Town for two and a half years. Before working for the Town, I worked for a software company in the Tech Center.”
Tell us about your job and how it impacts the Parker community.
“I work with a team that maintains all the computers and related equipment for the Town. Because of that, we have a huge impact on how the Town functions on a day-to-day basis.”
What do you most enjoy about working for the Town of Parker?
“I like working for the Town because of the relationships I have made. I truly feel like everyone who works here is family.”
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
“I did not get into I.T until my mid-twenties. Before that, I was in the Navy and worked in the engine room as a Gas Turbine Systems Technician.”
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
“In my free time, I enjoy riding my Harley and photography.”
What’s one thing that you feel sets Parker apart from other communities?
“I feel the Town of Parker tries to make this a place you truly want to live.”
What is the most interesting place you’ve ever visited?
“I was in the Navy, so I have been able to visit lots of interesting places. My favorite would be Hong Kong.”
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
“Coffee”
If you could do another job for the Town of Parker for just one day, what would it be?
“If I could do another job for a day, I would either want to drive a large snow plow or a street sweeper.”
What accomplishment are you most proud of since you started working for the Town of Parker?
“One thing that I feel proud of is helping to get video of the Town Council meetings live on social media.”
