Motorists should avoid the downtown area on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to road closures related to the annual Christmas Carriage Parade. Here are the detailed closures.
7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
* The Pine Drive Bridge and all access points to South Pine Drive from Rodeo Circle to Mainstreet will be closed for parade staging. North entrance of Turtle Creek and Parker Hilltop Apartments will be blocked and the south exits will
remain open.
* Mainstreet from S. Pine Drive to Pine Drive will be closed.
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
* Mainstreet and all access points will be closed from Parker Road to Pine Drive.
* Victorian Circle and all access points will be closed.
