[ARCHIVED] Help Shape Parker's Future!

P3

Are you interested in improving and progressing Parker? Parker’s urban renewal authority, Partnering for Parker’s Progress (P3), is looking for a new volunteer chair member.

The role of the P3 Advisory Committee is to:

  • Advocate for responsible growth on urban renewal authority-owned land
  • Provide recommendations to P3 on priorities for public investment of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenues
  • Assist with evaluating private project requests for TIF funding

Town residents, business owners and those with a vested interest in the future of our community are encouraged to apply. A background in real estate, law, architecture, planning, finance or other related fields is encouraged, but not required. Regular meetings will be held the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Additional meetings may be required for education and training.

If you are interested, please send a letter of interest and resume to the Parker Authority for Reinvestment, Attn: Weldy Feazell, 20120 E. Mainstreet, Parker, CO  80138 or email weldy@p3parker.com. The deadline
for applications is Jan. 31, 2018.

Relatives of Town of Parker employees and officials are not eligible to apply.

Please contact Weldy with any questions at weldy@p3parker.org or 303.805.3168. For additional information about P3, visit www.P3Parker.com.

Same URA, New Name & Initiatives
Formerly known as the Parker Authority for Reinvestment (PAR), the Town of Parker’s urban renewal authority (URA) has now evolved in both name and initiative. With its new name, Partnering for Parker’s Progress (P3) is armed with a robust strategic plan, a renewed commitment to engaging the community and a refreshed brand.

Why the Change?

  • PAR struggled to find consistent
messaging to accurately communicate the goals of the organization
  • PAR needed a way to identify itself separately from the Town
  • The former name was clunky and confusing to developers and patrons

P3 is a true partner that is committed to defining and accomplishing both public and private goals that improve the Parker community. It's not just a new name; it's a commitment to being transparent, accountable and fiscally responsible. To learn more, visit www.P3Parker.com and like us on Facebook: @P3Parker.
