Would you like to help keep our community beautiful? Through the Town of Parker's Adopt-a-Street Program, groups or individual volunteers can "adopt" a street to help keep our Town free of trash.
Through this program, a volunteer group agrees to pick up trash on an adopted section of street at least once per month April through September and once every two months October through March. Parker's Public Works Department provides participants with orange trash bags for debris removal. Orange safety vests are also available for those working on or near roads.
After trash pick-up has been completed and the Public Works Department is notified, Town crews are sent to collect the full trash bags on the morning of the next working day. Following the completion of the third trash pick-up, a recognition sign that lists the organization or individual that adopted the area will be posted in each designated location.
If you feel the Adopt-a-Street Program may be a fit you or your organization, visit www.ParkerOnline.org/AdoptAStreet to view a Program Agreement for more details, as well as a map featuring streets that are currently available to adopt.
