In 2017, the Cottonwood Highlands development completed the first phase of Cottonwood Drive between Jordan Road and Chambers Road. Due to this new roadway connection and continued development in the area, the Town is moving forward with construction of a traffic signal at the intersection of Cottonwood and Chambers, which are both arterial roadways.
The contract for this traffic signal project was approved by Town Council for construction on May 21 with adjacent development providing partial funding. Construction is anticipated to begin this summer, and if all goes according to schedule, the traffic signal will be operational in the fall of 2018.
