DUE TO WEATHER, THE GROUNDBREAKING HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE MAINSTREET CENTER, 19650 E. MAINSTREET.
The Town of Parker invites you to help paint the future canvas of culture on Thursday, April 22 at 4 p.m. as we break ground on the Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center. The event will be held at the future site of the PACE Center, located at Mainstreet and Pine Drive in historic downtown Parker. Bring your family and watch performances from local Parker artists Apex Dance and the Parker Chorale while everyone shares in the excitement of this new community facility.
“We are so excited to take this first step,” said Mayor David Casiano. “The PACE Center has been a dream for 15 years and it is finally becoming a reality.”
The new PACE Center will be home to a 500-seat theater, a beautiful event room with a kitchen, a dance studio and classroom space. Designed by the nationally-acclaimed architecture firm Semple Brown Design, the facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2011.
Once open, this state-of-the-art facility will provide a wide variety of family-oriented cultural, arts, scientific and educational programming to Parker residents and serve as a rental venue for community, business and social events.
