[ARCHIVED] New Seating Options for the Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration

Ballfield Seating

For the first time, the Town of Parker will open three of the Salisbury Park baseball fields for seating at the Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration presented by Ent Credit Union. The ball fields will provide additional seating areas for attendees. Remaining park grounds will be kept open to the general public for seating as in previous years.

Per ball field rules, no dogs, tents/canopies, yard games or fireworks are allowed on the fields. Field access allows for chairs, blankets and permitted food and drink. Admittance to each field varies and is outlined below.

VIP Field (pre-event purchase): The Town of Parker, along with Xfinity and Kona Ice of South Aurora, are offering a VIP experience for Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration this year. VIP Field packages will be sold for $40 each. A VIP Field package includes:

  • 1 reserved parking pass (must arrive by 7 p.m. before parking reverts to general admission)
  • 5 wristbands for admission into the VIP Field for the event (field opens at 5 p.m.; patrons can come and go by showing their wristbands at the entrance).
  • 5 tokens for free Kona Ice Classic Cups — plus an exclusive on-field Kona Ice vendor
  • 1 hour of exclusive access to all inflatables and zip line ($5 per zip line ticket) from 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Dedicated porta potties at the field

VIP Field packages (240 total) will go on sale at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at Parker Town Hall. Sales will be limited to 1 package per person with exact cash only. VIP Field materials (parking pass, wristbands, Kona Ice tokens) will be provided upon purchase.

Packages will be sold as-is, with no bracelet subtractions or additions, no refunds and no replacements for lost items. Wristbands may not be shared and all individuals ages 2 and up will need a bracelet to access the ball field. You must have your wristband secured on your wrist to enter the VIP Field.

The Stars and Stripes Celebration will go on rain or shine. Should fire restrictions and/or severe weather prohibit the ability to produce the fireworks show, the rest of the event will take place as planned and no refunds will be given.

Armed Forces Field (day-of distribution): Any active duty or veteran member of the military may present their Uniformed Services ID Card at the Armed Forces Field entrance on the day of the event to receive up to 10 wristbands for ball field access. The 500 wristbands will be distributed first-come, first-served beginning at 5 p.m. There is no cost for this field. Patrons can come and go by showing their wristbands at the entrance.

General Admission Field (day-of distribution): 1,000 general admission wristbands for Kuni Honda on Arapahoe Field will be distributed at the field entrance first-come, first-served beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of the event. There is no cost for this field. Patrons can come and go by showing their wristbands at the entrance.

Other Seating: As in previous years, the grounds of Salisbury Park will be open to attendees for seating during the event. The Town has chosen to open the ball fields this year to expand seating availability.
