Parkglenn Way Retaining Wall Replacement

Parkglenn Way Retaining Wall

Parker residents may have noticed  a retaining wall located along the east side of Parkglenn Way north of Plaza Drive because of its condition, which includes a noticeable lean of the existing timbers. The wall has served the Town for over 30 years and is in need of replacement.

A plan was advertised for bids, and they were opened in June. Out of four bidders, 53 Corporation, LLC of Sedalia, Colo., was the lowest responsible bidder. The much-needed construction should get underway later this summer. Due to limited site area, the replacement wall will consist of a segmental (block) concrete design with the sidewalk ending up in a different configuration when the replacement wall is complete.

If you have questions about this project, please contact the Town of Parker Engineering and Public Works Department at 303.840.9546.
