The Town of Parker's annual Roadway Reconstruction Project will turn its focus to Stroh Road this spring/summer.
The 2019 reconstruction project will be the westbound lanes of Stroh Road between Parker Road and J Morgan Boulevard. This project will remove the 30-plus year-old concrete pavement and replace it with an asphalt/aggregate base course pavement section.
The work will be completed using multiple phases, which will include lane switches. However, east and westbound travel lanes will remain open during the project but with traffic utilizing the southern section of the roadway. Concrete sawcutting is planned to start in mid-April with actual construction beginning in mid-May. The project should be completed late summer or early fall.
