This spring and summer, the Parker Town Council and Town staff will be making appearances at the Parker Farmer’s Market, and we want to hear from you!
Since the 2018 launch of the Town of Parker’s new online community engagement website, Let’s Talk Parker, we have seen a promising increase in the number of residents joining the conversation surrounding local issues by providing feedback about important community projects that they care about. While Town staff works to promote and grow this online platform, meeting the community one-on-one is still as important as ever.
The Town will have a Let’s Talk Parker booth at three upcoming Farmer’s Markets on select Sundays in downtown Parker, starting with the May 19 market. Stop by our tent to chat with a Town staff member or Councilmember. Get to know the people behind the government titles, learn about new projects and initiatives or just find an answer to a question that’s been on your mind. Staff members from various Town departments will be on hand to help provide the information that you’re looking for.
While you’re at our booth, make sure to visit the Touch-a-Truck equipment showcase hosted by our Engineering and Public Works Department, find out about volunteer opportunities in your community and sign up for the Let’s Talk Parker online platform.
If you are unable to make it to our May 19 booth, don’t worry. We will also return for two other Farmer's Market dates later this summer.
