Parker residents may have noticed the much-anticipated Motsenbocker Road Widening Project has been substantially completed just south of Mainstreet to the Todd Drive intersection.
The project included over 3,200 feet of asphalt widening and significant stormwater improvements. Center turn lanes, bike lanes and sidewalks were also added to the roadway, as were rapid flashing beacons to the American Academy Elementary School pedestrian crossing that will boost student safety. In addition, the last remaining section of the East-West Regional Trail adjacent to the Xcel/Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) electrical substation was completed.
The contractor, Concrete Express, Inc., was able to meet the contract milestone dates while completing the project within budget.
