Join staff from the Town of Parker's Community Development Department for the first community open house for the Chambers and Hess Sub-Area Plan Project.
This open house will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the PACE Center. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide more information about the project, which was launched this past summer. Among the information that will be available will be results from the first Community Survey that focused on gaining feedback from residents in the surrounding neighborhoods about future commercial amenities desired for the area.
The Chambers and Hess Sub-Area Plan project will assess economic and transportation influences on future commercial development that is currently allowed by zoning at the intersection of Hess Road and Chambers Road. The sub-area plan concentrates planning efforts on the commercial and mixed-use zoned portions of the Anthology North Planned Development zoning located south of the intersection of Chambers and Hess Roads, as well as the commercially zoned property located at the northeast corner that is within the Douglas 234 Planned Development zoning, (part of the Horse Creek neighborhood).
