[ARCHIVED] Contracted Roadway Maintenance Begins in May

Roadway Construction

The Town of Parker has engaged with various contractors to perform roadway reconstruction, rehabilitation and preservation maintenance work throughout the town beginning in May.

When a roadway segment has been selected, approximately half of the roadway will need to be closed completely for several hours, depending on the type of work and weather conditions. Other adjacent lanes and streets will remain open to allow nearby access for traveling, parking or getting to your home on foot during the time of the closure. Once these streets have dried and reopened to traffic, the other half of the roadway will be treated in a similar fashion.

Additional details, including specific project dates, will be distributed to affected residents' homes when they become available if their neighborhood has been scheduled for service. No Parking signs will also be placed in impacted neighborhoods when work is set to begin.

For more details about road work scheduled to occur in Parker, including an online map related to these projects, visit www.ParkerOnline.org/StreetProjects or call 303.840.9546.

Roadway Projects Map

The Town of Parker has updated its online Roadway Projects Map to include all 2021 projects, including chip and slurry seal, microsurfacing, asphalt rejuvenation, concrete repair, resurfacing, reconstruction and other projects. Street Sweeping

In addition to the start of annual maintenance, the Town's street sweeping crews have also returned to Parker's local/residential roadways.

Routine sweeping of all Town streets is scheduled to occur from late April through November. Streets sweepers focus on arterials and collectors during the early morning hours and shift to residential streets once the morning rush hour begins.
