We all know a new paint job and some landscaping can drastically improve the appearance of your home. How about the business down the block from you?
P3, Parker's Urban Renewal Authority (URA), is helping local businesses within the URAs to flip their building facades. The Facade and Landscape Improvement Program's (FLIP) goal is to encourage investment and revitalization of commercial buildings located in Parker's three URAs.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Using tax increment funding (TIF), P3 matches dollar-for-dollar up to $6,250. A business owner simply applies for the grant at www.P3Parker.com/FLIP.
"The P3 program was a great boost to our project," said local business owner Dr. Carrie Wolf. "Because of P3, we were able to afford a project that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional."
