Parker residents and other travelers who frequent Motsenbocker Road in the southwest area of Town will soon notice the addition of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Motsenbocker and French Creek Avenue, located about one-half mile south of Hess Road.
Due to continued future growth anticipated for southwest Parker, as well as the intersection meeting minimum Federal MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) warrants, the addition of this new traffic signal has become necessary.
Parker Town Council approved the award for this signalized intersection with contractor Lumin8 Transportation Technologies on Jan. 3. Construction is currently underway, and the traffic signal is expected to be operational this summer.
The Town appreciates your patience during this and other roadway projects. For more information about all Town of Parker capital improvement projects, call 303.840.9546 or visit www.ParkerOnline.org/CIPUpdate.
