[ARCHIVED] Summer is Here, and July 4th is Near!

Make plans now to celebrate Independence Day at the Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration Presented by Xfinity from 6 to 10 p.m. on July 4 at Salisbury Park. Check out what’s new and returning from previous years!

  • In place of fireworks, this year’s celebration will conclude with a new and innovative drone light show. The 12-minute aerial display will feature multiple designs and choreographed movements from a fleet of 150 drones set to patriotic music. Drones will be visible from up to two miles away, depending on vantage point. The optimal viewing experience will be from Salisbury Park at the event. As this will be our first drone show, we can't make guarantees for how well designs will be seen outside the park.
  • General admission is free and parking is $10 per vehicle, cash only, paid onsite. Parking is limited and will sell out. Patrons may also walk or bike into the park.
  • Returning free entertainment includes a 6 Million Dollar Band concert, walk-around entertainers and new carnival with 14 booths and prizes. Traditional low-cost activities like the tot train, face painting and light-up toy vendor will return, plus bungee jumping. A full food court will also be available.

Three seating options will be offered:

  • General Admission: Salisbury Park grounds will be open to all attendees. The central multi-purpose field features the music stage.
  • Armed Forces Field Seating: Present a Uniformed Services ID Card at the Field 4 entrance to receive up to 10 free wristbands for field access. 400 wristbands will be available.
  • All American Experience Pass: This optional event upgrade returns for 2022. Six inflatables, previously available to all attendees, will be exclusively available for those with an All American Experience Pass. Passes also come with seating on Fields 2 and 3, best views for the drone show and other bonus entertainment. All individuals ages 2 and up need a wristband secured to their wrist to access the All American Experience Pass areas. Passes are on sale now for $5 each and will increase to $10 each starting June 25, if still available, until sales end June 29 at 5 p.m. Passes will not be sold at the event.

Purchase All American Experience Passes (while supplies last) and find more event details online at www.ParkerOnline.org/StarsAndStripes.
