Mainstreet Primed for Possibilities

The future of Downtown Parker has taken another step towards reaching the vision created through community input collected in 2018.

In April 2022, the Parker Town Council and P3 Board of Directors received a first look at land developer Confluence Companies’ vision for Downtown Parker and the five My Mainstreet parcels. The area is set to experience an exciting transformation. Each parcel is proposed to have a unique design that continues Parker’s pursuit of a more vibrant and walkable downtown. Combined, the designs will promote the vitality of Mainstreet with a commitment to making the area a destination for residents, workers and tourists.

The My Mainstreet Project and Strategic Framework were created through a community effort. Residents spoke with P3 and the Town of Parker about what they thought downtown growth should look like. The project’s goal was to partner with residents, business owners and developers to define what the community wanted to see of the available downtown sites.

Plans are still being refined for what the available parcels will become, but concept plans show an exciting vision for the future. Town staff and officials are working closely with Confluence Companies to ensure plans meet community needs, respond to concerns, create economic vitality and keep the future of Parker at the top of mind.

There are five downtown parcels that would be included in the My Mainstreet Implementation:
• The Schoolhouse Lot
• 19801 E. Mainstreet
• PACE Center Lot 2
• EastMain Lot
• Pine Curve Lot

Slated ideas for construction include mixed-use buildings with restaurants, commercial space, housing and more. Keep up to date with this project and view the latest concepts at www.ParkerOnline.org/MyMainstreet.
