In 2019, the Town of Parker, in partnership with the Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF), created the Parker Business Loan Fund to provide access to capital and business coaching for start-up and existing Parker small businesses that are unable to secure traditional bank financing.
Small businesses and start-ups in Parker can apply for a loan for start-up expenses, equipment, inventory purchases, operations, relocations or property improvements. Loans can also be used to purchase a business or franchise. To be eligible, businesses generally must have gross revenues of less than $2 million per year, employ fewer than 20 full-time employees and have their primary office or operations located within Parker’s Town boundary.
Thus far, Parker’s fund has assisted local businesses with $50,000 in loans and created 42 new jobs in our community.
