A Douglas County electronics recycling (ecycling) and personal documents shredding event will be held on Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Burt.com Stadium, 11901 Newlin Gulch Blvd., in Parker.
For personal document shredding, up to three boxes or bags of paper will be shredded at no cost. Up to 10 additional boxes or bags will be accepted for shredding at $5 each. Unlimited, yet specific personal items for electronics recycling will be accepted.
A disposal fee of $10 for each CRT computer monitor and any size television will be collected at the event entrance. Fees will fund the environmentally responsible disposal of materials within these electronics.
This event is made possible through a partnership among Douglas County Government, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County School District, the Town of Parker, the Town of Castle Rock and the City of Lone Tree. Shredding of personal documents and electronics recycling is made possible thanks to sponsors Shred-It™ and TechnoRescue™.
