This year’s holiday parade on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m., presented by Swingle Lawn, Tree and Landscape Care, is themed a “Beary Special Christmas,” and will be attended by thousands! The festivities for this exciting day will begin at noon with live ice sculpture carving, a holiday farmer’s market, a petting zoo, pony rides and pictures with Santa! Pictures with Santa will be located in O’Brien Park in the gazebo from noon until 1:30 p.m. and again from 3 to 4 p.m. after the parade. Pictures will be $5, cash only and the petting zoo is free!
This spectacular, all-equestrian, holiday parade will begin in downtown Parker on Mainstreet at 2 p.m. Come and see the Xfinity ice sculpture at Ruth’s Chapel while you await this special parade of decorated horse-drawn carriages, wagons, riding groups, minis and marching bands from across Colorado. Join the fun on this magical afternoon when the streets are lined with families and eager children hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa. Many thanks to Children’s Hospital Colorado for helping Santa find his way to Parker to be in the parade!
Road closures will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and include E. Mainstreet, Pikes Peak Drive, Pine Drive and Victorian Circle. Parking is available in the downtown Parker area, however all lots within the parade route will be closed to exit and entry from 1 to 4 p.m. Event-goers who do not plan to stay for activities or shopping after the parade should park outside the parade route.
