The Town invites you to a public open house to view the preliminary design and alignment for the East/West Regional Trail. The open house will be held at the Parker Public Works Facility, located at 12010 S. Motsenbocker Rd., on Wednesday, April 11 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Meeting attendees will have a chance to view the project plans, speak to the project managers and provide any feedback they would like to share regarding the project prior to initiation of construction plans later this year. This regional trail will eventually run from Chatfield Reservoir to the Cherry Creek Regional Trail.

About the East/West Regional Trail
This regional trail is a joint planning effort between Douglas County, Lone Tree and Parker. Eventually the trail will run from Chatfield Reservoir to the Cherry Creek Regional Trail in Parker. The Parker portion of the trail is planned to be 10’ wide concrete, essentially running east and west within the existing Public Service Company right-of-way between Jordan Road and Chambers Road. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2013, after the construction plans are completed this year.
