On Wednesday, June 27, the Town and the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) invite thousands of commuters to ditch the gas pump and bike to work.
The Town will host its annual breakfast station on the Cherry Creek Trail under the E-470 overpass. Riders will fuel up with refreshments and giveaways provided by: Funky Brewster, Bagel Stop, Sprouts, Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, Jimmy Johns, Bing energy drink, Intajuice and FroYo! The first 200 riders to stop at Parker’s breakfast station will also receive an official Bike To Work Day t-shirt! The breakfast station will be open from 6:30 to 9 a.m. and a bike technician from the Parker Treads will be available to aid the biking commuters. A restroom will also be provided by Parker Port-A-Potty.
