Back for its’ third year, director Mike Bard provides a unique experience for baseball players of all ages. With a staff of Major League, minor league, college and high school players, coaches and trainers will be in attendance to train and play with campers of all ages. Whether your player is a beginner or more advanced player, this camp has something for everyone.
This year’s Holiday Baseball Camp will be held at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr. on Jan. 2-3 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Baseball players ages 6 to 18 can register for camp online at www.ParkerRec.com. Click the online registration icon and search with keywords Holiday Baseball. Registration fees are $150 for Parker residents and $165 for non-residents.
An amazing opportunity for young baseball players is offered through the teaming up of this All-star coaching staff, the Parker Fieldhouse and camp director and baseball instructor Mike Bard. The indoor facility allows kids to get field time during the winter, when they otherwise can’t go outside. The entire 100,000 square feet of sports turf, cages and other surfaces will be available to Mike’s staff and the campers.
Mike’s staff will include enough coaches to have one coach for every 10 campers. The quality of the instruction is one-on-one, with adjustments being made according to the needs of the child. Groups will be determined based on experience, offering even more instruction tailored to each individual player.

Early bird registration is now open online at www.ParkerRec.com and closes on Dec. 20. Registrations will be accepted after Dec. 20 until 11 a.m. on Jan. 2 for an additional registration fee of $25.
