The Town of Parker is pleased to welcome Donald Warn as the Town’s new Finance Director, effective Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. Warn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters in Public Administration and has more than 20 years of management experience in the areas of finance, administration and information technology. In addition, he has extensive expertise in accounting, budgeting, financial forecasting and analysis.
“I am excited to assume a leadership role in such a vibrant and growing community,” said Warn of his new position. “I look forward using my knowledge and experience to benefit Parker and the community as a whole.”
In addition to private sector experience, Warn has worked in the field of municipal government for 12 years. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Golden, prior to which he worked as the Finance Director for Archuleta County. Warn is also currently the Vice President of the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association
