Rhonda Willey joined the Town of Parker in January of 2011 in the Accounting Department.  She manages the day to day operations of the Accounting Team – to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipting, grants, financial reporting and internal controls.  Rhonda is also responsible for managing the annual independent audit and preparing the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).  Prior to working for the Town, she worked 13 years at American Furniture Warehouse in various roles.  She started as a cashier, was promoted to Front Office Manager, and the last 10 years worked in the accounting department as the Third Party Finance manager.  At American Furniture Warehouse, she also worked with the annual audit and sales tax auditors, prepared sales tax returns, and prepared financial reports.  Rhonda obtained her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  She is a native Coloradoan who grew up in the Arvada area and moved to Parker in 2003.  When she is not working, she is busy spending time with her two teenage daughters and loves to hike on the Douglas County area trails.
