Signs are a critical part of identifying subdivisions, businesses and other aspects of a community. Before erecting a sign in the Town of Parker, you will need to obtain a sign permit assistance packet from the Community Development Department. Sign Code regulations can be found in Chapter 13.09 of the Land Development Code (Title 13) of the Parker Municipal Code.

The following packets should help in assisting you in your sign needs:

• Standard Sign Permit Packet - for wall signs, permanent freestanding signs or Planned Sign Programs (Chapter 13.09.090 in the Land Development Code)
• Window Sign Application - for signage on the window of a business
• Temporary Sign Permit Packet - for banner permits and/or temporary signs such as, but not limited to, lease signs, construction signs, etc.
• Advertising Art Application - for commercial artwork that meets the definition of signage but is artistic in nature

After the sign permit application is completed, please submit it to the Community Development Department with the non-refundable sign permit application fee. Application fees vary depending on the type of permit needed.

Following this submission, our Community Development Department staff will review the application in relation to Chapter 13.09 of the Land Development Ordinance. The review and approval process times vary depending on the type of application that is submitted. Applications are processed as quickly as possible. Following this process, staff will contact the applicant to let them know of any difficulties or to inform them that their permit is ready.
